Dr Joseph Ohana MBBS

Joseph gained his Doctorate in Medicine from Montpellier University, France. After coming to Australia in 1975, he worked in NSW hospitals and then entered general practice in Summer Hill 24 years ago. His other languages are French and Hebrew. He has a long-standing interest in skin cancers, having written his doctoral thesis on the subject of melanoma, and has had a clinical appointment to the Sydney Melanoma Unit at RPAH for the last five years. He has additional qualifications in Aviation Medicine, being a designated Aviation Medical Examiner. At the Inner West General Practice he sees patients mainly for skin cancer checks and pilots’ medicals.
