Dianne is an honors graduate of the University of NSW. She spent several years training in hospitals both in Australia and Britain and subsequently worked in community health centres in Australia. She gained valuable experience in the physical developmental and emotional problems of childhood whilst working in child health centres and then worked for some years in women’s health centres.
She has worked as a GP since 1985 initially on the South Coast then here in Leichhardt since 1988. She is a Fellow of the College of General Practitioners and also holds certificates or diplomas in Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Hypnosis. Dianne is Vocationally Registered.
Dianne believes in the power of mind in healing and will often use hypnosis to help with chronic health problems. She has a particular interest in HIV Medicine and is a registered Zidovudine prescriber.
In addition she has a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and diplomas in Paediatrics, women’s health and psychiatry. She is committed to quality care in General practice and is both a GP supervisor and examiner for the college. She has a particular interest in all aspects of preventive health including travel medicine.
She is accredited to provide antenatal shared care for both Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and also Royal Hospital for Women.
