IWGP is a private billing practice committed to providing high quality health care to all members of the community, valuing individual circumstance.

• Billing for each consultation is at the treating doctor’s discretion (on the day) in negotiation with individual patients’, and taking into consideration specific circumstances.

• For all Saturday appointments, and weekday appointments scheduled after 6pm, only private billing is offered.

• For initial travel vaccination/advice consultations, only private billing is offered.

• Bulk Billing is provided for all pension, and health care card holders (aside from Saturdays and weekdays after 6pm).

• Bulk  Billing is offered for childhood immunisations (aside from Saturdays and weekdays after 6pm).

Late cancellation of appointment and failure to attend charges:

IWGP expects patients to ring at least 24 hours before any appointment to cancel, so that another patient can be offered that appointment time. Should this not occur, a cancellation fee of $50 will apply.

Some procedures and special consultations attract additional fees, which your doctor will be happy to discuss with you.
